Best Mocktails in Harrisburg

Looking for the best places near Harrisburg for a mocktail? Here’s my guide to the best mocktails near Harrisburg and what outdoor adventure to pair it with!

I stopped drinking in fall 2024 on a vacation in Austria. I had given it up intermittently because I was tired of being hungover from two beers. When I woke up and was hungover from ONE beer, I decided it was over.

At first, I was worried I would have a hard time finding non-alcoholic offerings, especially when I traveled (and as I sit here now writing this, spell-check is trying to tell me that “mocktail” is not a word and keeps autocorrecting to cocktail. How meta.)

In the three years that I have been going to Harrisburg, I am stoked to see how far the city has home with its non-alcoholic options. I never felt left out, even at places where I didn’t expect to see mocktails at all.

I love pairing a mocktail with an outdoor adventure. It’s nice to sip on something the refreshes and replenishes me rather than dehydrates after a long day outside.

In this guide, I’ve listed out my favorite mocktails and paired each of them with an outdoor adventure in the area. Read on to find your new favorite place to sip on a drink!

Most Comprehensive Mocktails: Agape Elixir Bar

Mocktail lovers rejoice! Agape Elixir Bar is your one stop shop for any and all non alcoholic beverages in the Harrisburg area. I love that they are completely alcohol free with a menu of numerous drinks and mix and match options.

I LOVED my Keystone Cooler, a OJ/dragon fruit/guava drink. It was beautifully designed and crafted with care. My friend’s Lavender Haze was just as good. If Kava or CBD are your thing, their mocktails are designed to pair with either or you can just have the mocktail as is. This is now a place I will visit every single time I am in the area so that I can work my way through their extensive menu. If you’re planning a visit, keep an eye on their website, because they often have events and food trucks.

Pair a stop at Agape with a wander to see the city’s amazing murals. I love art that makes me feel things and many of these murals made me stop and stare. Murals close to Agape include Mother Earth, Mural by Maria 27, and 28 S Dewbury St (a kind of boring name for a very fun mural that feels like Keith Haring met Salvador Dali and took some mushrooms).

Mocktails with a View: Harrisburg Beach Club

Harrisburg Beach Club is the perfect place to hang out in the city while pretending you’re having a Euro summer. Located on City Island, this seasonal hangout is a great place to relax at the bar or in an Adirondack chair and sip on a drink while fully embracing summer.

While the menu itself only has pop and N/A beers listed as non-alcoholics, the bartenders assured me that they could make almost any drink on their extensive cocktail menu into a mocktail. I had an N/A lavender mojito, which was refreshing but not too sweet. I loved sipping this drink while watching the river flow by. For more information about the Harrisburg Beach Club and to peruse the drink menu for yourself, check out the HBC website.

Pair this drink with a boat tour on the Pride of the Susquehanna, one of the country’s only paddlewheel riverboats. This boat was out of commission in 2024 and 2025 so tours sell out fast now that it’s back on the water. Reserve your spot for a 45 minute long tour, then wander over the Harrisburg Beach Club.

Mocktails with a Side of Art: The Millworks

The Millworks showcases central Pennsylvania’s artistic talents in both the culinary and fine arts. This downtown Harrisburg restaurant and event space is home to the studios of many different types of artist who display their art in the interior.

While we didn’t have a ton of time to peruse the art (and so I need to go back), I was glad we got to eat and drink. The Let the Beet Drop was one of the prettiest mocktails I had on my trip. I was worried it wouldn’t be sweet enough for me but the mix of orange and ginger gave it just enough sweetness. They also have kombucha on tap, which I love, but didn’t get on this trip because it was a flavor I wasn’t a fan of. Can’t wait to go back and try it next time!

I also really enjoyed my greek grain bowl and had enough to enjoy it again for lunch the next day. I also highly recommend the Cauliflower Wings, which are perfectly cooked and have a nice kick.

Pair the Millworks with a visit to Fort Hunter Park. Just under 15 minutes north of the restaurant, Fort Hunter Park offers amazing views of the Susquehanna River. Sit in the swings to take in the Rockville Train Bridge, the longest stone arch train bridge in the world. If you’re more history minded, take a tour of the Fort Hunter Mansion.

Mocktails & Eco Friendly Eating:  Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar

Pulling up to park outside Harvest, I was a little skeptical. How good could a restaurant in a strip mall off of a highway be? The answer is VERY good. Both my mocktail and my dinner were amazing and I loved stepping into the tastefully lit upscale restaurant.

If you’re traveling with a wine drinker, this is a great destination for both of you. Harvest offers over 50 types of wine by the glass. They also work with over 75 local farmers to source their products and change their menu every three months to reflect what’s available in the current season, reducing carbon emissions from food travel and supporting local agriculture.

Pair this drink and dining experience with a visit to Wildwood Park, an amazing outdoor park nestled right inside the city. If you come in the spring and summer, check out Art in the Park, an outdoor art installation located around the trails. My favorite thing to do at this park is bird watch and I’m impressed at how many different species of bird I can see in a park located in such an urban area.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close to both Wildwood and Harvest, check out the Home2 Suites by Hilton. It’s walking distance to the restaurant and offers free breakfast.

Fusion & Mocktails: Cafe Fresco

Cafe Fresco was a last minute add to my itinerary and I am so glad we stopped in. This Asian fusion restaurant had an amazing vibe and delicious food to match.

I am not a huge mandarin flavor fan but I LOVED the Mandarin Mocktail I had (unfortunately, it seems to have since left the menu). Mocktail lovers have two options for seasonal mocktails. Make sure to ask the bartender for recommendations based on your preferences. We had a great conversation with their mixologist while sitting at the bar.

While we weren’t super hungry for dinner after eating hot dogs at the Senators game and so didn’t order a lot, everything we ordered was great. I followed my heart (aka my stomach) and ordered the the crab rangoon egg rolls. They were incredibly rich but worth every bite and I still think about them. The Brussel sprouts were the perfect amount of crispy and the Thai lettuce wraps were flavorful without being too filling.

Pair with a wander along the Susquehanna Greenway. This bike trail loops around the city, but I recommend wandering on the parts along the Susquehanna River. I was able to see some amazing boat traffic and do some great bird (and people watching) along the short stretch I walked. Make sure to head north along the path from Cafe Fresco to see the Capitol building and the best river overlooks.

It’s Not Beer, I Promise: Troeg’s Independent Brewing

A brewery may not seem like the best place to grab a non-alcoholic beverage. Let me prove you wrong about Troeg’s.

In 2025, they came out with their Sidekick Sparkling Hop Water, which is one of the best in the industry (and I have drank a LOT of hop water). It’s refreshing without having a sour aftertaste, something that other hop waters can’t seem to shake. It’s not technically a mocktail, but I promise that it’s delicious even if you don’t like beer.  As of this writing, they have original, which leans a little into the lime, and peach flavored.

I also love their kitchen set up with more interesting takes on traditional brewery food, such as their curry chicken salad sandwich on a croissant.

Pair this visit with a spot to Hershey Gardens. Built by Milton Hershey for his wife, these 23-acre gardens are phenomenal to wander through. Don’t skip the indoor butterfly garden where you’ll be surrounded by butterflies of all kind.

Honorable Mention for Unexpected Mocktails: Lindgren Brewery

I love a building that used to be something else, so I knew I wanted to visit Lindgren Brewery when I was in the area. Not only is the building super cool because it used to be a bank vault, I love that their story is intertwined with the Appalachian Trail. They also are the only brewery located right on the AT and have many trail themed beers including Livin’ Along the AT.

I had no expectations of getting a mocktail at Lindgren and figured I’d have to settle for pop. However, when I asked the bartender, they also told me that they could make any cocktail a mocktail. So even if you don’t see anything on the menu, just ask! Their food is so good, especially the burgers. I got the Rocksylvania smash burger with tots and it was the perfect thing for being starving after a long day on the river.
